ACCESSORIES MAKE OUR STAGES EVEN MORE AMAZING!

Check out this blog on our website!

Quik Stage is a manufacturer of portable staging in Blaine, MN. Every day we learn and develop new ways of making our portable stages as easy to set up as possible. We pride ourselves with the fact that our decks are one of the lightest in the industry, but also love that our platforms are the highest quality. We wanted to add some more value to our stages so throughout this post we will explore ways to make your Quik Stage even better for you.

Let’s start with the most unexpected item that makes our stages stand out- stage skirting. This is an easy and affordable way to make your staging system look professional. We offer five different styles: Shirred, Box, Flat, Accordion or Adjustable pleat. These are available in 35 different colors. Our stage skirting is cut ½”shorter than the listed size to allow proper hanging and this way the skirting won’t be touching the floor.

All of our skirting has a loop side of fastener sewn in. Our stages have hook side of the fastener attached on already; however, if your stage does not have Velcro-like fastener on it, we can also supply you with it. Our Hook fastener has a commercial quality adhesive backing so you can easily attach it to your stage.

We also have a large quantity of black shirred pleat and flat/no pleat skirting in stock and ready to ship. Our stage skirting can be made in any length or width you would like. This means that our skirting will fit any stage regardless of who the manufacturer is. We always want to provide you with the highest quality products just like our portable staging decks so we made sure that our stage skirting is American made.

Another stage accessory you might want to explore is the stage leg clip. Portable stage leg clips are a great way to store stage legs under the deck and keep them all in one place. These clips will keep your whole stage self-contained. With our leg clips, you won’t end up looking for stage legs that are misplaced right before the event. By having those legs attached to the bottom of the deck, you cut the set-up time significantly.

If, after reading this post, you decide you would like to add these clips to your portable staging system, we have them in stock. We use a cordless drill with a hex head driver to install them on our stage decks but you can also use a nut driver or straight blade screwdriver. The clip is adjustable from 1 ½” to 2” just by simply adjusting the depth of the 10 x ¾ hex head screw during installation. The more you tighten the screw, the smaller the clip diameter gets. Take a close look at the photos to see exactly how they work. Most of our portable stage decks use either 4 or 6 stage legs. For a stage platform with 4 legs, you will need 8 clips and a stage with 6 legs you would have to have 12 clips. (see pictures)
