Last week we
talked about trussing, mainly the different truss segments that we offer. This
week we will focus on the clamps for the trussing. We sell many types and sizes
of truss clamps, truss couplers and half connectors primarily for the 35 mm and
50 mm aluminum trussing. Our clamps and connectors are manufactured from
aluminum and are of high quality. We offer a selection of both medium and heavy
duty TUV certified clamps.
The Global
Truss Jr Clamp is a medium duty clamp for 35 mm (1 3/8”) tubing. This is an
aluminum truss clamp with a maximum load capacity of 165 lbs or 75 kgs. This clamp
fits Global Truss F23 and F24 trussing or any other brand that is 1 3/8” or 35
mm tube. It weighs 0.28 lbs and is 1.125” wide. It has a standard silver
aluminum mill finish.
The Global
Truss Jr Clamp Pro is a medium duty clamp for 35 mm (1 3/8”) tubing. This is an
aluminum truss clamp with a maximum load capacity of 220 lbs or 100 kgs. This
clamp fits Global Truss F23 and F24 trussing and any other compatible brand.
This clamp will fit a minimum tube diameter of 32 mm and a maximum tube diameter
of 35 mm. It comes standard with a bolt and wing nut to attach a light or
another device to the clamp. It weighs 0.35 lbs. It also has a standard silver
aluminum mill finish.
The Global
Truss Mini 360 Quick Release clamp is a medium duty clamp that is 1 3/16” wide
and weighs 0.40 lbs. This clamp is a quick release model which means that it
has a lever that makes it quick and easy to install. This clamp is made of
aluminum and has a standard silver finish. The maximum load capacity is 220 lbs
or 100 kgs. The clamp will fit a minimum tube diameter of 48 mm and a maximum
of 51 mm. It comes standard with a bolt and wing nut to attach a light or any
other device to the clamp. It fits Global Truss F31, F32, F33, F34, and F44P
trussing and any other compatible brand with 2” or 50 mm tubing.
This clamp is
exactly the same one as the Global Truss Mini 360 QR Clamp with one difference.
This clamp has a black aluminum mill finish.
The Global
Truss Narrow Clamp is the medium duty clamp made from aluminum. This clamp is
1¼” and weighs 0.78 lbs. The maximum capacity is 440 lbs or 200kg and will fit
tube diameter of 48 mm minimum and 51 mm maximum. This clamp comes standard
with a bolt and wing nut to attach a light or any other device to the clamp and
has a standard aluminum finish. It fits Global Truss F31, F32, F33, F34, and
F44P trussing or any other brand of truss that has a 2” or 50 mm tube.
The Global
Truss Quick rig clamp is a heavy-duty, low-profile, hook style clamp. These
clamps are popular within the DJ community because they are perfect if you are
using a quick set up with lights. The maximum load capacity is 500 lbs or
250kg. This clamp fits a minimum tube diameter of 48 mm and a maximum tube
diameter of 51 mm. It fits Global Truss F31, F32, F33, F34, and F44P trussing
and any other brand that has a 2” or 50mm tube. This all-aluminum truss clamp
weighs 1.02 lbs.
The Global Truss
Pro Clamp is a heavy-duty clamp that is 2” wide and weighs 1.15lbs. It is an
all-aluminum truss clamp that is made by Global Truss. Maximum load capacity is
1100 lbs or 500kg. It fits Global Truss F31, F32, F33, F34, and F44P trussing
and any other brand that has a 2” or 50mm tube. This clamp will fit a minimum
tube diameter of 48 mm and a maximum tube diameter of 51 mm.
The Global
Truss Eye Clamp is a heavy-duty clamp with an eye bolt. This clamp is an
all-aluminum truss clamp and is 2” wide and 1.30lbs. Maximum load capacity is
440 lbs or 200kg. This clamp will fit a minimum tube diameter of 48 mm and a
maximum tube diameter of 51 mm. It fits Global Truss F31, F32, F33, F34 and
F44P and any other compatible brand with 2” or 50 mm tubing.
Regardless of
which clamp or clamps you decide on, every single one of these is made of

commonly used at conferences and trade shows for TV mount clamping and

segments. One of our customers had a creative use for our clamps. He used them in
his shed where he attached them to the ceiling to hold metal storage baskets
which added more storage space.
